 How many people are visiting the food pantry?

Between January and June 2006:                 
124 families; 577 visits; about 1154 bags of groceries.
Between July and December 2006: 
127 familes; 680 visits; about 1,360 bags of groceries.
 
MOST NEEDED ITEMS:
Canned fruit
Canned vegetables
Peanut butter
Cereal
Pasta
Pasta sauce
Tuna fish

 

Collection bins are located at the exit in Stop N' Shop, at St. Paul's Church, at the Bank of America: 35 Woodbridge Ave, and at the Reformed Church of Highland Park (donations can be left in the large yellow tub located underneath a square table in the main hall of the Reformed Church (19-21 South Second Ave.  Enter either from the public parking lot directly behind the church or from South Second Avenue.)
